Applying Brand Intelligence to Generative Copilot in XM Cloud

To apply brand intelligence, you need to create a Brand Kit and assign it to your site. Once assigned, all content generated or optimized using the Content Copilot will adhere to your brand’s guidelines, including:

• Brand Context: Ensures cohesive communication aligned with your brand’s purpose and positioning.
• Dos and Don’ts: Provides clear guidelines to maintain tone and values.
• Tone of Voice: Defines key personality traits such as friendliness, professionalism, or confidence.

Steps to Apply a Brand Kit

1. Open Sites in Sitecore XM Cloud and click Settings on the tile of the relevant site.
2. In the left-hand pane, select Brand Kit (Stream).
3. From the Brand Kit drop-down menu, choose the appropriate Brand Kit and apply it to the site.

How to Create a Brand Kit

To create a Brand Kit, follow these steps:

1. Open Sitecore Stream App from the Sitecore Cloud Portal.

2. Navigate to the Brand Kits tab.

3. Click Create Brand Kit and fill in the required sections as shown in below :

4. Once configured, assign the Brand Kit to a site. The Generative Copilot will then generate AI-driven content that adheres to the assigned Brand Kit.

2. Generative Copilot

Generative Copilot enhances content creation by allowing AI to generate and optimize text-based content. It supports content teams by providing suggestions, improving writing, and ensuring consistency across different sections of a website.

How to Use Generative Copilot in XM Cloud

1. Open the XM Cloud Pages App and navigate to a page.
2. Select any Single Line Text, Multiline Text, or Rich Text field of a component.

3. In the right-hand pane, click Optimize Content.
4. Enter a free-text prompt and click Generate or select one of the predefined options:
   • Improve writing
   • Fix spelling and grammar
   • Make shorter
   • Make longer
   • Summarize
   • Change tone
   • Adhere to brand (if a Brand Kit is assigned)

5. Review and compare the optimized content with the original.
6. Choose one of the following actions:
   • Keep optimized to replace the original text.
   • Create A/B test to compare two variations.
   • Discard changes by clicking the X and confirming cancellation.

• If you have selected the full component, the optimization prompt will apply to all its text fields. If you selected a single field, the prompt will apply to that field only.  In the example below I have selected the Title field.
• If you select an empty text field, you can ask the tool to write text for you.  

3. AI-Enhanced Workflows (Agentic Workflow)

Agentic Workflows bring AI-powered automation to project management and content workflows, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort. These workflows can dynamically adjust tasks, suggest optimizations, and automate repetitive actions based on AI-driven insights.

How Agentic Workflows Improve Efficiency

• Automated Task Management: AI can predict the next steps and suggest content modifications based on trends.
• Enhanced Collaboration: AI assists team members by suggesting changes that align with project goals.
